How do I determine if my site is being indexed
by Google? If your website is not in the Google "index", forget someone
being able to ever find your website. Google provides a simple way to find out quickly.
To determine whether your site is currently
included in Google's index, do a site: search for your site's URL.
For
example, a search for [ site:google.com ] returns the following results:
http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Agoogle.com .
So open Google.com, in the search
box you type "site: http://mysite.com" and hit
ENTER (of course replacing "mysite.com"
with your actual site full URL). If your site is indexed it will return a list of the
pages on your site. If it is not no results will be returned.
To Have your site Indexed use Google's
ADD URL utility here.
