Remote Video Surveillance - Overview

The combination of 3 high quality components make up the powerful RVS digital video camera system creating an incredibly versatile and reliable video surveillance environment.

The RVS system allows secure access to live and recoded video from a local or remote location via the internet. The RVS system includes digital video software for recording and nationwide installation is available.

The RVS System is made up of 3 Primary Elements

RVS Server (where all cameras and software are managed and stored)

Digital Video Cameras (high quality, color digital video cameras, remotely accessible)

Digital Video Software (captures and records all video, installed on the RVS Server)

Advantages of an RVS System
  • High quality IP based video cameras are installed in your environment and all video is recorded to the RVS server hard drive.
  • PC based networkable system. Easy to manage and maintain.
  • Access LIVE or RECORDED video from another location on any computer with internet access, 24/7/365 from anywhere in the world.
  • Recording digitally eliminates the need for highly accessible VCR tapes. Everything is stored directly to the computer's hard drive.
  • Monitor cameras from many different locations all on one screen.
The Technology
  • RVS expands greatly on older style analog systems by using the newest digital technologies.
  • Recordings are saved to a computer disk, not tape.
  • All recordings are time and date stamped, making specific video easy to find.
  • Cameras can record only when they sense motion or full time recording.
  • System can be programmed to send a text message to a phone or pager when cameras senses motion during off hours.
  • System can be accessed remotely, allowing access to real-time video from another location.
  • Save video and burn to DVD in the event of an incident or for archiving.
The Design
The RVS system was completely designed in early 2000, by NTI here in the US. Our engineers spent years researching and building this technology to include the highest performing components available. We are the sole provider of this System.
  • Systems are custom designed for your specific environment.
  • High resolution, color, professional grade cameras.
  • The powerful RVS Server manages and captures all digital video.
  • Access to Real Time video over the Internet (static IP may be required from your ISP).
  • Simple point and click Control Panel interface to manage all cameras and recordings.
  • A wide variety of cameras and lenses are available for maximum coverage.
  • Long range wireless options available (up to 1 mile).
  • Difficult installation environments are our specialty.
The RVS Server
Real Time Digital images are be captured and recorded directly to the hard drive on the RVS Server. Record weeks or months of streaming video and  playback specific dates and times with the click of a mouse. Retrieve recorded video locally or remotely via our RVS web portal from anywhere in the world!

Easy to use control panel offers enhanced security and password features keeping unwanted eyes out of the system. The RVS Server can be located completely OFFSITE for maximum security.

Remote Access
24/7 Live Video:  Video can be monitored or recordings retrieved on 2 ways. Directly from the RVS system at the camera location, or remotely via the RVS web portal over internet from any location in the world. Remote access does NOT disturb the recording process.

Video Recording Software
The digital video recording software captures the live video from the IP based cameras and stores it on the RVS computer hard drive. Live or recorded video is accessible from anywhere in the world the RVS Web Portal over the internet without interrupted recordings.

Easy to use and maintain control panel interface manages all of the cameras. Cameras from many different locations can be consolidated into this one interface for monitoring remote projects.

Difficult Mounting Conditions are our Specialty
Our very technical engineers specialize in difficult and unique installation scenarios including long range wireless. When others are telling you it can't be done.....we CAN. We have a surveillance solution for any environment. Call us today! 800.346.0732

Security
Secure. A special USB license key is used with the RVS system for added security of your system. It is like a two part "key" to your RVS system eliminating the possibility of someone else logging into your system without your permission. In addition, multiple levels of user password protection and encryption ensure that only the owner will have access to the system, locally or remotely.
