What is Digital Signage?
Digital signage is a form of advertising in which content and messages displayed on an electronic screen, LCD/TV known as a Digital Sign, typically with the goal of delivering targeted messages to consumers. Digital signage offers superior return on investment (ROI) over traditional advertising media. The content displayed on digital signage screens can range from simple text and still images to full-motion video, with or without audio using digital signage software.

Digital Signage is also known as Electronic Signs, Electronic Displays, Electronic Billboards, Dynamic Digital Signs, Narrowcasting, Datacasting, Electronic Display Networks, Digital In-Store Merchandising, Out-of-Home Media Networks, Employee TV, Captive Audience Networks, or Digital Media Networks.

How can Digital Signage help my business?
It can help by substantially promoting your products and services like never before on colorful LCD/TV screens. Attract customers attention quickly and effectively. This is the newest form of digital advertising. The world is going all 'digital', so keep your business right on the cutting edge of technology.

How do NTI-Z Series Systems work?
We make it simple for you. All you have to do is create your media 'content' and set up your environment on the Z-Series Digital Signage Server (DSS). Display spreadsheets, menus, pictures, a website, or a full looping advertisements to your customers.

What do you mean by 'media content' ?
The term 'content' represents the information that you are displaying on your digital signs. It could be simple text, a schedule, a picture or a video. Media content is created easily with the MS PowerPoint software included with the system, or you may use any other PC based program to create your content.

How do I update the content on the displays?
Simple. Let's say you need to make a change on digital sign #5. Just open the software (PowerPoint for example), make your modifications, and save. Content will automatically refresh on display #5 on the next loop of the media, and the best part is, you can make the changes live!

What sets our DS-Z Series systems apart from any other DS system?
We have designed a cutting edge system for Digital Signage based on the most current technologies allowing up to 11  digital signs to be controlled with a single PC based system. Something that has never been done before, until now. Typical digital signage systems require multiple, very expensive decoder boxes at each LCD display location as well as additional complex equipment and recurring fees.

An NTI Z-Series digital signage system is simple to use, manage and there are NO recurring fees. Once you buy the equipment you own it.

How far away can my content displays be from the DS Server?
All of our systems come standard with 100' video extension cables, (if you don't need them we can deduct from the cost). We also offer optional Long Range VEM modules to extend digital signage content up to 600' away. One transmit/receive pair of modules would be needed for each display extended through standard CAT5 network cable (customer provided). Wireless video extension is available up to 300' LOS!

How do your systems compare to others?
See for yourself below in this example, there really is NO comparison. Our systems are one of a kind, we have designed them to be easy to use and maintain. A huge advantage over older technologies in digital signage.

What is different about our systems?

Can be complicated. Your presentations must be 'decoded' prior to use. Ease of Use Simple. Create your own media. Configure to desired display with included software.
Content must be created at a different location, converted to a special format and manually brought to EACH display one at a time to update the decoder boxes separately.

Often requires paying someone to get content updated. When you want to update you have to do this all over again.

Will I get a high return on my investment?
Absolutely. NTI's Z-Series digital signage systems provide maximum return on investment on every level.  The multi-display design of the system allows a business owner to utilize a single system to control many digital signs. Every effort has been made by our engineers to ensure that you are getting a highly versatile yet user friendly system. Save thousands of dollars over years by eliminating expensive printing costs. Change your advertising 'electronically', as often as you like eliminating the need to have to reprint signs over and over again.

Will an NTI Digital Signage System work in my business?
Yes. the Z-Series systems are designed for virtually every industry on the planet. If you have special requirements you can speak directly with our design engineers. We have a solution for every scenario and environment as all of our systems are customizable.

How many displays can I have?
Our DS-Z Series Systems range from 1 to 11 displays plus 1 control monitor. One control monitor is included with all of our systems. You do not have to use all displays with any system. For example a Z-5 provides support for up to 5 displays but you can connect 2, 3, or 4 displays and add the 5th when you are ready.

Can I displays something different on every display?
Yes you can with our systems. Or you can display the same content on several or all displays, it is your choice. For example, if you purchase a DS-Z7 seven display system, you could have 4 displays with the same content and 3 with different content, our systems are very versatile to meet any installation objectives.

Can I have AUDIO on every display?
Only when Content display is an LCD/HDTV and toggled over to television which has its own audio, not for PC based video content as a computer only has one audio output.

Can I display PowerPoint animations and video on different displays?
Yes but there are a couple of Microsoft limitations:

  • PowerPoint animations and transitions on different displays playing at the same time, may experience some latency. Note this is a Microsoft PowerPoint software limitation not our system. For best results limit advanced transition effects and animations to one display.

  • You cannot span a video across multiple displays

  • If you require more advanced editing software we can recommend one for you, give us a call.

How far away can I mount my displays from the DSS Control Server?
Up to 100' with included extension cables. Optional video extension modules (VEM) are available for up to 600' away. Wireless options available up to 300' (los) .

Can I use my existing LCDs or HDTVs?
Yes. If you already have LCDs or , LCD/HDTVs, CONVERT them into Digital Signage with our Z-Series systems!

Can I toggle between TV and a Digital Sign on my LCD/TV?
Yes. Since most LCD/TVs have both VGA and television inputs, you can easily toggle your video source on your TV between and digital signage. Business owners, display the superbowl during game time, when the game is over switch back to your digital sign.

What is included?
All DS-Z Series systems come standard with all of the hardware and content creation software necessary to set up your multi display digital signage solution. Simply connect to your existing displays via standard VGA connections found on most all LCDs and LCD/TVs, and our systems will do the rest.

What will I need?
You will need at least one existing or new TV to display your content. Discuss your project with your NTI sales rep if you have special requirements. We have a solution for any scenario.

Are these systems customizable?
Each Digital Signage System is built specifically to suite the customers needs and environment so all of our systems are customizable. We can also build your system in a rack mount chassis if needed (additional charge applies)
