GS4000 High Speed Digital
Video Camera System
When things move too
fast for the eye to see, the GS4000 System lets you
analyze high speed motion frame-by-frame to determine the
source of the problem quickly. Designed for capturing mechanical failures
or monitoring
production machinery, packaging lines, sports analysis,
surveillance and much more. Records hours of high speed video on external hard drives. Playback
slow motion video down to one frame at a time to carefully
analyze important events or malfunctions. Export captured
video to several standard formats (see below).
The user-friendly software interface makes
setup and operation easy so you can concentrate on getting
your production or packaging line running at maximum
efficiency.
Full
System and Accessories
Everything you need is
included in this very productive high
speed camera solution. Stream video directly to your
hard drives (RAID) for up to 6 hours. Software for
managing, recordings,
playback and review as well as all camera mounting and lighting
accessories are included.
Industrial Grade High Speed Camera
The GS4000 System features the ultra high-speed GigaviewTM camera capable of capturing video at
up to 4000 frames-per second
! Setup a RAID array and record continuously for up to6 hours
on your PC, or record in BURST mode directly to internal
camera memory.
For example, the camera can be set up to monitor an
entire shift’s operation. By capturing 1280x720 (VGA)
video to disk
array at 750-fps for up
to 6-hrs, power disruptions, external interference,
or equipment failures can be documented in detail.
The built in Image-Cued Triggering
function allows you to 'frame' an area of interest, when
image movement is sensed within that frame the camera
captures that video. Pre and Post buffering settings allow
you to record a few seconds before and/or after an event to
ensure you do not miss a single frame!
The features available in in this camera are not found in any
other industrial high speed camera such as auto-exposure, 10-bit
grayscale, image-cued triggering, and sector recording.
Through the combination of the highest resolution, longest
record times, and fastest frame-rates, the GS4000 system is
the clear performance leader in high-speed video solutions
for the production and packaging environments.
IRIG-B Input: External
AM-modulated time code (upgrade option)
Analog Video: RS-170
(640x480) output
Digital Out: 3.3V TTL
output (synchronized to frame exposure by default)
2 Methods of Recording
Burst Mode
Capture short video clips directly to
internal camera memory. The user-friendly software
interface makes setup and operation a snap so you can
concentrate on getting your production or packaging line
to maximum efficiency.
Streaming Mode
Stream video recordings directly to your
computer hard drive. Set up a RAID array for ultra long
recording times. By storing 640x480 (VGA) images to your disk
array at 250-fps for up to 6-hrs, power disruptions,
external interference, or equipment failures can be
documented in detail.
Recording Software
Software The GS4000
System comes with complete software that makes
recording, storing and playback of video easy. Select frame-rate,
frame-size, and storage media with the Record Wizard then
click go. The software takes care of controlling the
camera, dynamically adjusting the frame-rate to match the data
bandwidth of the interface and storage media, storing to the
selected media device, and playing back the digital video.
Recorded parameters are displayed for all video files and
video can be cropped to select only the frames of interest.
