Q: Would you like a complete system ready for work out of the box?
If you would like a complete multiple display system ready for work, see our trademark
QuadStation Systems now. We will
do the work for you and ship it right to your door ready to go.
Q: How many displays would you like to have, 3, 4, 6 or even 12?
A: This is
the starting point and will determine which system configuration you will need.
All you have to do is decide how many displays you want, and leave the rest
up to us.
Q: What about speed and memory, will I have enough
power?
A: Yes. This is what QuadStation Systems are known for worldwide.
All systems come standard with all top shelf components, right out of the
box. Regardless of which system you choose, you will always have plenty of
power leave that to us. All you have to decide on is how may displays you
would like to have. We only use the fastest Intel processors and
motherboards in all systems.
Q: How much desktop space do I need?
A: If you have plenty of desktop space then you usually don't have to worry.
If you are limited on space, our
LCD Monitor Mounts will help to conserve
maximum desktop
space. If you are using older full size CRT monitors, then you need to have
enough space for all of your monitors.
Q: Should I allow for expansion?
A:
If you think there is even a slight possibility you may want additional
displays in the future, allow for it now
when deciding how many displays to start with. More often than not, customers
want additional displays later wishing they had started with more. For
example, if you are on the fence between a 4 and a 6 monitor system, go with
the 6. You don't have to use all monitors at first, just plug them in later
when you are ready. But even if you dont, we have you covered there too. All
of our systems are very expandable if you ever decide to add more screens
later.

DISPLAY QUAD VIDEO CARDS |
Q:
Would you like to install a new multi display video card into your existing system?
A:
If you have a small amount of technical skill, and your current computer
system supports it, you can install your own multi display video card.
Q: Which video card should I use?
A: This depends upon a few factors. The available slots on your computer's
motherboard, how displays you would like to have, and your current operating
system (Windows XP, Windows 7 etc). If you are not sure, give us a call now at
800.346.0732. We will help you decide.
Q: PCI or PCI Express?
A: It depends on the type of slots on your motherboard, but always
use PCI Express video cards if your system supports it, they are much
faster. If
you have an older system you must use an older PCI style video card.
Usually if your computer is that old it may be time for a new system anyway
with the latest and greatest technology. Consider a new QuadStation above,
we will do all the work for you.
Q: How many displays can I have if I install my own
video card?
A: Normally up to 4, but again this depends on your current
computer's motherboard. It is possible to install 2 video cards in your
system for a total of up to 8 but requires a bit more technical skill. If
you are confident you can do this then you are all set. If you are not, give us a call to
help you decide if your motherboard will support 2 cards.

Q: How do I connect my LCD monitors together?
A:
Whether you are considering buying a
complete multi display computer from us, or expanding displays on an existing computer,
you will need
an LCD monitor mount to connect all of your LCD monitors together.
LCD mounts create a much more efficient and
productive workspace and we have mounts to support from
2 to 12 displays.
Q: Are my monitors compatible with your LCD monitor mounts?
A: Yes most likely. If you already have LCD monitors and you are purchasing one of our
mounting systems just make sure your LCD displays have a VESA type mounting pattern on the back which most
of them do. Sometimes they
are covered up by the manufacturers sticker or the base.
VESA standards.
Q: Can I buy LCDs from NTI?
A: Yes. We offer complete turn key systems including monitors and mounts.
If you already have a few existing monitors you can use those with our system as
well. Mixing and matching different models and sizes with our systems and
the same mount is ok too.
