32 bit or 64 Bit Operating system? |
|
Confused about which operating system to choose? Give us
a call we will help you decide. As
always with our systems you have your choice of a 32bit or 64bit
Operating system. However, 64bit Windows will allow the operating system to run
twice as fast and it will recognize more memory. QuadStations
default operating system is Windows 7-64 bit but you may have 32bit if
you request it at no additional charge. For more detail on 32 vs 64bit see

Lots of Memory |
 All QuadStation-i7 Systems come standard with
at least 6G of the newest Triple channel memory. This is the fastest memory to date.
The
amount of 'useable' system memory is completely dependant upon
the Microsoft operating system not the hardware.
QuadStations (QS4 and above)
come standard with the new triple channel DDR3. What is
important about this is that triple channel memory works in conjunction with
the memory controller built into the i7 processor. It must be installed in lots of
3 (3g, 6g, 12g, 24g etc).
